Diane L. London, MSMFT, LPC

Diane L London photohraphDiane L. London, MSMFT, LPC has worked for over twenty years with children, adolescents and adults in individual, couple, and family counseling settings. Her training in marriage and family therapy from the University of Wisconsin - Stout allows her to bring a systems approach to therapy, which means there isn't necessarily one "identified client", but that the entire unit is considered in the healing process.

Diane has Basic and Advanced training in Discernment Counseling through the University of Minnesota, Couples on the Brink project. There is more information regarding this specialized training on the page devoted to describing Discernment Counseling.

Diane has received extensive training (60+ post graduate hours) in Sex Therapy through the University of Michigan. You can read more about Sex Therapy on the page devoted to Sex Therapy.

Diane has completed Level I and Level II, along with advanced training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).

Diane has training through the University of WI Madison as a Mediator. She has assisted couples mediate divorces, child custody/placement issues, and other issues related to co-parenting, divorce adjustment and blended family issues. Diane has also assisted businesses with mediating employee issues or business agreements.

Diane has worked as a Military Life Family Consultant and assisted Service Members and their families with pre and post deployment issues, supporting many Yellow Ribbon events.

Through EAP Services (Employee Assistance Programs) Diane has contracted with several employers and insurance companies to give Critical Incident Stress Debriefing as well as specialized training at the work site.

When Stepping Stones Counseling Center, LLC was established, Diane made it her mission to volunteer her time and energy to Humanitarian Efforts. Diane has assisted the Red Cross with Hurricane Katrina Disaster Relief work, including local emergency relief. Diane has also volunteered her time with the VOICE Project in Nicaragua through the University of Stevens Point. Disaster Relief work in Haiti after the earthquake and Clean Water - Africa have also been projects that Diane has organized.
